Church Records Published

SIMSBURY, CT March 31- Researchers, family historians and genealogists will welcome the publication of A Sense of Place: First Church Records Simsbury, Connecticut 1682-1930 compiled by Thomas Dunmore Ayres. This second offering in the Society's A Sense of Place Series draws from unpublished sources within its Archives.  Offered in index format the work lists: ministers, births and baptisms, marriages, deaths and membership records from these sources.

Dedicated to long time supporter, the late Robert H. Lindauer Sr., this volume helps researchers locate people who were either permanent or transient members of the Simsbury community. It reflects the Simsbury Historical Society's commitment to its collections and to making the information contained within them available to the general public.
