Historical Society Programs


6/27/17 - Historical Society of East Hartford Museums in Martin Park Open for the Summer

The East Hartford Historical Society at Martin Park is open for the 2017 summer season from 1 to 4 on Sunday afternoons from July 9th through August 27. The Park location is at 307 Burnside Avenue*.

The 1761 Makens Bemont House, also known as the Huguenot House, is restored to its original 18th century appearance with period furnishings. Also open is the 1821 Goodwin Schoolhouse and the 1850 Burnham Blacksmith Shop. Tours are free, donations accepted. 860-528-0716 or www.hseh.org.
