9/05/17 - Historical Society of East Hartford Museums in Martin Park Closed for the Winter

The East Hartford Historical Society houses in Martin Park, 307 Burnside Avenue*, have now closed for the winter. They will reopen to visitors in the summer of 2018.

The 1761 Makens Bemont House, also known as the Huguenot House, has been restored to its original 18th century appearance with period furnishings. Also open will be the 1821 Goodwin Schoolhouse and the 1850 Burnham Blacksmith Shop. Summer tours are free, but donations are gladly accepted. Call 860-528-0716.
